Miguel Perez

Junior Designer

Miguel holds a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of California – Los Angeles, where upon graduating in 2014 began his career in Architectural Lighting Design.

Throughout his career, Miguel has worked on a variety of projects nationwide including high-end residential, multi-tenant, retail, corporate, institutional, and civil.  This exposure to a variety of project types has led not only to a broad knowledge of lighting techniques, concepts, and theories but also the impact lighting design has on architecture and the day-to-day interactions users have within the space.  Miguel’s broad experience has taught him the importance of teamwork, communication, and stakeholder involvement.  Through an open dialogue, Miguel hopes to bring everyone to the table to collaborate on design and how the team can bring that vision to life, regardless of how ambitious.

Miguel is actively involved with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), a distinguished organization consisting of designers dedicated to the advocacy and promotion of the commercial interior design industry, where he previously served as co-vice president of student affairs for the southern California chapter.
